Nebraska Farm Bureau Submits Glyphosate Comments To The EPA

The Environmental Protection Agency is going through the process of reviewing the registration of Glyphosate (round-up). The Nebraska Farm Bureau filed comments with the agency this week in favor of continuing its use. National Affairs Director Jordan Dux says Glyphosate has proven to be a safe and useful product for farmers and they need it to be able to control weeds.

He says the track record for Glyphosate has been positive.

Dux says if the EPA doesn’t re-register Glyphosate it will create economic harm for farmers.

Dux is hoping for a favorable ruling from the EPA as the comment period closed earlier this week.
