The Nebraska Farm Bureau has sent a list of priorities to President Joe Biden for the state’s farmers and ranchers. President Mark McHargue says they include everything from improving access to broadband, to support for both domestic and international markets and for reasonable regulations.

He says President Biden is supportive of free trade so his policy will be different than what President Trump did in that area, particularly with tariffs.

McHargue says it’ll be critical for farmer and ranchers to take their message of the need for any regulation to be workable and reasonable.

McHargue says their letter was also sent to the Vice President and to Congressional leaders.
