Nebraska Farm Bureau Helping With Ag Teacher Shortage

The Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture and the Nebraska FFA Association are working together to meet the growing demand for ag teachers in the state. Nebraska State Director of Ag Education Matt Kreifels says they have a growing need for more ag educators and the two Farm Bureau programs are a great start toward addressing that problem.
Kreifels says the Farm Bureau scholarship program provides significant aid in helping those students studying ag education remain in the state and apply for those ag teaching positions.

Kreifels says the Farm Bureau Foundation’s loan forgiveness program is another important cog in helping solve the ag teacher shortage.

Kreifels says for more information, go to the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture website or State FFA Association’s web page.
