Nebraska Farm Bureau officials are supporting legislation introduced in the Senate Environment Works Committee to overturn the President’s Clean Power plan. Farm Bureau’s National Affairs Coordinator, Jordan Dux says if the clean power plan is approved, it’ll be very costly.
Dux says while he’s glad to see committee support for the legislation to overturn the Clean Power Plan, he believes it will likely face a Presidential veto.
He says besides the Clean Power Plan being costly, it really doesn’t bring many benefits.
The Affordable Reliable Energy Act Now is designed to stop the Clean Power Plan, while restricting the EPA’s ability to rewrite the rules.
