The Nebraska Farm Bureau has wrapped up their disaster relief program. President Steve Nelson says they brought in close to $3.5 million in contributions. He says they were able to help many of the state’s farmers and ranchers and the small communities impacted by this year’s flooding.

He says their second round of aid distribution was more targeted.

Nelson is proud the way Nebraska farmers and ranchers and Farm Bureau members came together to help each other.

Nelson says they have a little bit of funding left they’re providing to local communities for their long term water supply needs.
