Omaha, Lincoln and other communities in Nebraska often rank high on national surveys but Creighton University Economist Ernie Goss says there are other things to consider as well. Goss says we also have to look at migration, what companies are moving into the state compared to those moving out. He says the economy in the Midwest is just like the weather outside…..
Goss says there is also concern regarding the employment sector.
Goss says the job loss is connected to ConAgra Foods decision to relocate their headquarters to Chicago as well as lay-offs at Union Pacific Railroad.
