Nebraska may see an economic slowdown in the coming months, according to a leading economic indicator report.
Bureau of Business Research Director Eric Thompson at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln says business is booming in the state for now, but the report points toward a slowdown in the near future…

Thompson says six months ago, consumer confidence and business confidence were near all-time highs. However, the report states recently, confidence levels have receded to levels that are good, but not great. . .

Thompson says the flat confidence levels combined with other indicators, like a strong U.S dollar, forecast a slowing of the Nebraska economy.
