Nebraska Department of Agriculture officials have been seeing a number of complaints regarding misuse of herbicide products containing dicamba. Assistant State Agriculture Director Mat Habrock says those complaints have picked up recently.

He says at this point they have no plans to ban dicamba use and are in the investigative stage to find out how serious the problem is.

Habrock says they’re strongly encouraging all users of herbicides and pesticides to be attentive to label requirements when selecting and applying products.

Habrock encourages farmers and ranchers to file complaints with their office if they see or have any problems regarding herbicide or pesticide misuse.
