Nebraska delegates to the Republican National Convention were not part of an effort to change the voting process on the convention rules Monday. As many as 11 states were seeking to force a roll-call vote on the rules, which may have opened the door to efforts opposing Donald Trump. Nebraska Delegate Bob Evnen says Nebraska’s delegation was not approached to be part of the effort.

Evnen says his colleagues take seriously their pledge made to Nebraska voters.

Evnen says there are a small number of state delegations who may still be looking for ways to prevent Donald Trump’s status as nominee, but none have approached Nebraska’s delegation to join that effort.
