Nebraska Corrections Director Scott Frakes says a number of safety procedures were not followed, which led to the escape of two inmates from the Lincoln Correctional Center Friday.
Frakes says the investigation continues, but what is known now is that two inexperienced prison officials allowed Armon Dixon and Timothy Clausen to get into the laundry room, even though they were not supposed to be there

Frakes says the two would not have escaped if proper procedure had been followed by two inexperienced staff members

Authorities arrested Dixon in Lincoln Saturday afternoon. The search for Clausen continues, concentrated in northeast Omaha.
