Nebraska State Corrections Director Scott Frakes says the culture is changing at the Department of Correctional Services.
Frakes says he’s proud staff discovered more miscalculations of prison sentences, because he says it was the first example of how department staff approach their jobs.

Frakes says he wants staff to feel free to discuss problems.

Frakes says the recent discovery of even more prison sentence miscalculations actually encourages him, because it was his staff that uncovered the problem and brought it to his attention.
