A trade team from Taiwan visited Nebraska last week hosted by the Nebraska Corn Board and Corn Growers Association. Executive Director Kelly Brunkhorst says the Taiwan group toured several farms and is very interested in the high quality of Nebraska corn to use in their livestock operations.

He says the Taiwan buyers also met with some private sellers to talk about future sales.

Brunkhorst says they’ll also continue to build relationships with other potential customers. They’ll be joining the Nebraska Department of Agriculture for their upcoming trade trip to Indonesia November 30 through December 6.

The Taiwan trade team included livestock representatives, feed millers, corn traders and government officials.
