The Comment period for the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed RFS rule ends on November 29. Nebraska Corn Board and Corn Grower’s Association Executive Director Kelly Brunkhorst says they’re mobilizing their members and calling on all Nebraskans to submit comments on the rule.

He says unless the EPA changes their proposed RFS rule to reallocate all the lost volumes of biofuels that weren’t blended because of the small refinery waivers, the entire farm economy will continue to suffer.

Brunkhorst says the RFS also benefits consumers so it’s critical they submit comments as well.

Brunkhorst says to submit a comment, you can just go to NebraskaCorn.org and click on the link.
