Nebraska’s consumer and business confidence are both strong in the latest monthly survey from the U-N-L Bureau of Business Research, according to director Eric Thompson:

Thompson says nearly half of the respondents cited cost concerns like cost of living, health care costs, taxes and other major expenses.

Thompson says the agricultural economy has been a concern.

Thompson says the June results are significantly better than during May. He adds, consumers can now be characterized as optimistic.
