Nebraska Congressman Has Problems With EPA Rules

The concern over the regulatory overreach of the Environmental Protection Agency is a resounding theme in Washington D.C. right now. The agency has a long list of proposed regulations that are drawing fire from farm groups and lawmakers. Nebraska Congressman Adrian Smith says as he has traveled the state and talked to constituents… this is their top priority.
Smith says one of the most concerning proposed regulations is the expansion of the Clean Water Act. EPA is attempting to expand their jurisdiction to all waters of the U.S. verses just navigable waters.
He says that’s why he and 230 other House members have written EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy asking the agency halt the Waters of the U.S. proposal.
