Nebraska Cattlemen Association members want Congress to address the ag labor shortage and provide protection for the meat industry against plant based and cell grown meats. Cattlemen Executive Vice President Pete McClymont says those concerns need attention.

He says NCBA is pushing lawmakers for protections for cattle producers on the fake meat issue.

McClymont says having truth in labeling would be one solution to the fake meat issue but how that’s implemented must be worked out.
