Last week the Nebraska Cattlemen Association Board of Directors met in Lincoln to outline their 2017 state legislative priorities. Association Vice President of Legislative Affairs Laura Field says tax reform is their major focus, with property taxes leading the list.

She says there are several potential solutions to the problem of rising taxes that they’re examining.

Field says there are a number of pieces of legislation they’re considering backing that might be able to address the tax problem.

Field says her group is interested in a comprehensive type of plan to reform taxes in Nebraska.
