The retaliatory tariffs placed by Canada on U.S. beef imports will be hurtful for U.S. cattle producers. That’s according to Nebraska Cattlemen Association President Galen Frenzen.
He says he’s not sure what the answer is to solving the current trade war.
Frenzen says President Trump is handling the tariff battle not as most politicians would.
Canada’s placing of the $170 million in tariffs on U.S. beef imports is in response
to steel and aluminum tariffs placed on Canada earlier by the United States.
