Nebraska Cattlemen Association members are helping cattle producers impacted by wildfires in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. Over a million acres have burned in those states and thousands of cattle have died as well. Nebraska Cattlemen Association Executive Director Pete McClymont says the best way for people to donate and get relief out to those producers is to go to their website at Nebraska Cattlemen.org.

He says their biggest need is for hay and fencing materials.

McClymont says they have an existing foundation in place to help when these type of disasters occur.

McClymont says they expect to know later this week how many cattle have died as a result of those wildfires in the four states.
