President Donald Trump keeps changing his stance on the Trans Pacific Partnership Trade deal. Earlier he said he was interested in possibly rejoining the pact, then Friday he said he’s not interested in that. Nebraska Cattlemen Association President Galen Frenzen says that uncertainty is very concerning to him and his organization.
He says the President has indicated he prefers having a bilateral trade deal with Japan rather than an FTA but that takes a lot of time to achieve.
Frenzen says without the U.S. in the TPP, it means a loss of market share to our competitors.
Meanwhile Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse says rejoining TPP is the best thing the U.S. can do to push back against China.
