The Nebraska State Legislature wrapped up their 2021 session last week. It was a very successful session for issues backed by the Nebraska Cattlemen Association. Executive Vice President Pete McClymont says all their priority measures were approved.

He says getting legislation approved for broadband expansion is a huge win for cattle producers and this measure was long overdue.

McClymont says another priority measure was contained in passage of the Nebraska Farm to School Program Act.

McClymont says two other priority bills that passed included a change of provisions in the Livestock Brand Act and the Dr. Fox legislation that provides for refills of veterinary drug orders by veterinary drug distributors.
