Recently a rancher in the Nebraska sandhills killed a gray wolf and those predators have been spreading across the country. That’s caught the concern of the Nebraska Cattlemen Association. Executive Vice President Pete McClymont says they have an experience person on staff who’s aware of the problem with gray wolves and in the past helped convince lawmakers to delist the gray wolf from the Endangered Species List.

He says his group is partnering with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association in weighing in with Congress and the administration to make sure the Gray Wolf doesn’t get relisted as an Endangered Species.

McClymont says any producer having predator problems can contact their Association and they can get them in touch with any federal or state agencies that can assist them.

According to the latest statistics gray wolves have rebounded in the lower 48 states.
