The Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association is holding a series of meetings around the state this week to get input from their members on various state and federal issues and concerns. Cattlemen’s Legislative Director Laura Field says they’re making seven stops starting in Alliance today.
Field says one of the main state issues they’ll be talking about is property taxes.
Field says they’ll also discuss EPA’s proposed Waters of the U.S. rule and their group’s opposition to it.
Meetings are in Alliance and North Platte on Monday, Cambridge and Fairbury on Tuesday, Wahoo and Norfolk on Wednesday and Bloomfield on Thursday. For more details go to the Nebraska Cattlemen’s website.
