After ten months on the job, Bill Bunce has resigned as Executive Director of the Nebraska Brand Committee. He’s leaving to serve as Executive Vice President of the American Brahman Breeders Association in Houston, Texas. Bunce came in following controversy with the previous Executive Director. Brand Committee member Jaclyn Wilson says they’re disappointed Bunce is leaving and have named G. David Horton as Interim Director effective on September 1.

She says in the near future just ahead of their next meeting the Brand Committee will begin the process of searching for a new executive director.

Wilson says the main project Horton will be working on as he comes aboard will be the implementation of their new technology program.

Wilson says that Horton’s vast experience and industry knowledge will assist the Committee as it transitions to a new Executive Director.
