The process of a Convention of States continues in Nebraska. Senator Laura Ebke of Crete says eight states have filed their application and she hopes that Nebraska’s turn comes next year. She says it is an uphill climb but it is worth the trip.
Ebke says thirty-four states are required to sign on and the applications would have to match.
The proposed amendments focus on limiting federal power over states, calls for fiscal restraints and calls for term limits on all federal officials.
