Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson says his office will get behind moves in the legislature to crack down on human trafficking.
Peterson says current penalties in state law against human trafficking aren’t strong enough…creating an environment that invites sex slave trafficking as well as slave labor.

Peterson says the legislature also needs to address the problems that have arisen since Colorado legalized marijuana.

Peterson says Nebraska drug laws need to be updated to crack down on synthetic drugs as well as edible marijuana.
