The Nebraska 150 Celebration planning committee has lined up dozens of events for the statehood milestone.
First Lady Susanne Shore says the yearlong festivities in 2017 will highlight Nebraska’s unique history.

Shore says many groups are planning local events and can partner with the state effort.

Nebraska 150 Executive Director Regan Anson says many groups have already contributed, but they’re looking for more from across the state.

Anson says grant funding will be available for some local events that need help.
