Nebraska Farm Bureau members got an update on property taxes and trade at their annual convention in Kearney this week. During his annual address President Steve Nelson told the delegates progress is being made at the state level to lessen the burden of high property taxes.

He says while this is a complex issue, State Senators are recognizing the need to address the property tax issue.

Nelson says progress is also being made on bi-lateral trade agreements and the trade war with China that is benefiting America’s farmers and ranchers.

Farm Bureau members wrap up their annual meeting Tuesday.
