North Dakota Soybean Processors officials are holding investor meetings for their new $287 million soy crushing plant to be built in Spiritwood, near Jamestown. The sole owner of NDSP is Minnesota Soybean Processors.
CEO Scott Austin says once the North Dakota processing facility is operating it’ll process 125,000 bushels of soybeans daily.
He says Minnesota Soybean Processors is providing $66 million of equity for the North Dakota plant and they hope to raise the rest from investors.
Austin says once completed, the North Dakota Soybean Processors plant will have a significant impact on the local economy.
Investor meetings are scheduled for July 19 at 7:30am in Brandon and 7pm in Brookings. For more information on the project go to the website at NDSOY.com or call their Brewster, Minnesota office.
