NCTA Cooperates With SDSU To Start Dairy Program At Curtis Nebraska School

A two year college in Curtis, Nebraska has been seeing an increase in student enrollment. Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture Dean of Students Ron Rosati says not only has their enrollment reached its highest level in 23 years but has also received national recognition.

The head of NCTA’s Animal Sciences Department Dr. Doug Smith says they’ve just begun a cooperative dairy program with SDSU.

Smith describes how the new dairy program works.

NCTA offers programs in Animal Science/Ag Education, Veterinary Technology, Agribusiness Management, Agronomy and Ag Mechanics and General Education.
