NCGA Files Comments With EPA on Important Regulations for Corn Industry

This week the National Corn Growers Association filed comments with the EPA on two regulations important to the corn industry. NCGA Board member and Chester, South Dakota farmer Keith Alverson says they want EPA to grant a waiver to allow year-round use of E15 and conduct a review of WOTUS.

He says WOTUS needs to be reviewed to clarify what waters need to be regulated under the Clean Water Act.

Alverson says if EPA grants a waiver to lift the Reid Vapor Pressure rule consumers and retailers would benefit.

He says allowing year-round sales of E15 offers more choices for consumers at the pump and cleaner air.https://soundcloud.com/wnax-radio/keith-alverson-on-epa-comments-1
