Four Democrats are leading a group of bi-partisan Congress people urging the Biden Administration to increase usage of biofuels and reject any reduction in blending requirements. National Corn Grower’s Association Chairman and Iowa farmer Kevin Ross says the President needs to wake up and listen to his own party and stand by his campaign promises to support renewable fuels.

He says producers need to keep putting the pressure on Congress and the Administration to follow through with the EPA and other federal agencies in backing robust levels of biofuels through the Renewable Volume Obligations under the RFS.

Ross says it’s time for more farmers to stand up for biofuels and for all citizens to let the federal government know the importance of backing a strong renewable fuel standard and not put up with any cutbacks in RVOs.

Ross says the only way to reach the President’s climate goals and reduce greenhouse gas emissions is through renewable fuels.
