NCBA members held their summer business meeting last week in Denver focusing on policy priorities. Policy Division Chair Jennifer Houston says the members heard a report from the working group on how they and the CME are addressing volatility issues in the cattle market.
She says they also looked at ways to tweak the beef checkoff and included more members in that process.
Houston says they also heard from their technology working committee.
Houston says their members repeated their support for trade and passage of the Trans Pacific Partnership deal.
