The White House and Republican Congressional leaders are considering not including an estate tax repeal in the overall tax reform package. That’s concerning to National Cattlemens Beef Association President Craig Uden. He says the estate tax hits many middle class farmers and ranchers.
He expects Congress to get moving quite quickly on tax reform.
Uden says the video is available on the NCBA website. He also says they’ll try and convince the President to support the move to repeal the estate tax and weigh in with Congress on that.
GOP leaders and the President are attempting to pick up Democrat votes on their tax package and think by ditching repeal of the estate tax they can then get their support.
