National Cattlemen Beef Association officials are pleased with Congressional approval of the tax extenders package this week. Vice President of Government Affairs Colin Woodall says the most important component of the bill for cattle producers is the Section 179 deduction.
Woodall says the new Congress will need to work for a permanent fix to tax policy which is something his group will push for.
Woodall expects President Obama to sign the tax extender’s measure when it reaches his desk.
