The Trump administration continues to work on developing markets for U.S. agriculture with a number of bilateral deals. One of the President’s priorities is getting a pact with the United Kingdom. National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s Vice President of Government Affairs Ethan Lane is in England this week with other U.S. trade officials setting the groundwork for a possible agreement in the future.

He says consumers in England have many questions about U.S. beef and are very interested in knowing as much as they can about the product.

Lane says there’s a large appetite in the United Kingdom for American beef.

Lane says the high demand they see for beef from U.S. customers matching closely what they’re seeing in the United Kingdom.
