This week, President Donald Trump announced the U.S. has signed the renegotiated Free Trade Agreement with South Korea. National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Colin Woodall says the agreement is a good one and the President is coming through on his promise to get the U.S. good trade deals.

He says the new KORUS keeps most of the positive components contained in the original agreement, with just a few tweaks.

Woodall says the renegotiated KORUS will be very beneficial for U.S. cattle producers.

Woodall says the U.S. can now build on this new FTA and push forward other trade agreements.
