A group of 25 Senators have written President Donald Trump asking him to have the United States rejoin the Trans Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement. National Cattlemen’s Beef Association Vice President of Government Affairs Colin Woodall says while the U.S. would benefit from joining TPP, is pessimistic about that happening.
He says despite recent statements from the Administration there’s been lack of movement for needed action regarding trade.
Woodall says the remaining TPP nations are just getting ready to sign the deal in the next couple of weeks so it would be difficult for the U.S. to get in that quickly if at all. T Cut 25 Woodall Gilmu q. I think the reality just isn’t
Woodall says NCBA is focusing on protecting the North American Free Trade Agreement as well as the U.S. South Korean FTA.
