National Cattlemen’s Beef Association members are in Denver this week at their summer meeting working on policy for the coming year. NCBA President Jennifer Houston says they have several committees meeting.
She says the top concern of their members remains trade and the need to finalize deals and move forward on new trade pacts.
Houston says their producers understand that successful trade pacts are critical to their bottom line.
Houston says there’s a lot happening with trade and if everything goes well, it could bring large benefits to the U.S. beef industry.
