The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Public Lands Council Leaders are hailing passage of a Senate resolution this week repealing the Bureau of Land Management’s 2.0 rule. NCBA President and Nebraska cattle producer Craig Uden says eliminating this BLM rule allows for more public input into public land management.

He says the BLM 2.0 rule went away from multiple land use which is the best way to manage public lands.

Uden says if cattle producers aren’t good stewards of the land, they won’t stay in business.

Uden says the resolution repealing the BLM’s 2.0 rule has already passed the House so they were just awaiting Senate action which happened this week.
