The National Biodiesel Board hosted more than 550 biodiesel and renewable diesel producers during their recent conference. NBB’s Paul Winters says they set a robust goal of six billion gallons of biodiesel and renewable diesel production by 2030.
He says they’re looking forward to working with the new EPA administrator on helping meet climate and environmental goals with renewable diesel and biodiesel being part of that solution.
Winters says another area of growth for biodiesel and renewable diesel is through infrastructure improvements.
Winters says last year was the first year that biodiesel infrastructure was included in the USDA program. Prior to that only blender pumps were included.
