With the new Biden administration taking over early next year, the National Biodiesel Board is ramping up efforts to work with Congress and the new Administration on issues important to their industry. NBB Director and Nebraska farmer Greg Anderson says they want to build on the five year tax extension they received this year for biodiesel.
He says they’ll be working to educate new appointees by the President as to what an important cog to the economy biodiesel is.
Anderson says biodiesel producers have an important role to play in battling climate change which is a focus of the new administration.
Anderson says biodiesel fits in well with the incoming President’s climate change agenda and offers consumers reduced emissions without them having to make any engine modifications.
