NBB Launches RFS Support Advertising Campaign

The National Biodiesel Board has launched a radio advertising campaign in six states including Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota urging President Trump to direct the EPA to reject the gap small refiner waivers from the Renewable Fuel Standard. NBB’s Paul Winters says they’re asking the President to stand by the promise he made last week in Iowa to uphold the RFS.

He says NBB wants farmers to go to their website and fill out their prewritten request to the President and EPA administrator to reject those gap small refiner waivers.

Winters says over the past three years 85 SRES have been granted which has done a great deal of damage to the biodiesel industry.

Winters says their ads will run for two weeks in the six states. The campaign was launched this week on Monday.
