Agriculture representation in Congress on the various committees along with a new Presidential administration bring a change that will effect farmers and ranchers and the issues effecting them. National Association of Wheat Grower’s CEO Chandler Goule says three leaders being talked about to lead the House Ag Committee and USDA include one person he worked for in the past and the other two are from Ohio and North Dakota.

He says those leaders being talked about all have excellent agricultural experience which will help when the Ag Committees put together the new farm bill next year.

Goule says NAWG has already formulated their goals for the next farm bill and will be working with Congress to get those included.

Goule says on the trade front, NAWG will be pushing the Biden Administration for more multi-lateral trade agreements as fifty percent of wheat grown in the U.S. is exported to overseas customers.
