A Nativity is on display on the first-floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol…for now.
The Thomas More Society of Omaha received the permit for its display through next week. It will have to come down the week of Christmas, though. A group of atheists secured permits for displays at all four corners of the rotunda the week of Christmas.
Lawyer Martin Cannon with the Thomas More Society says the maneuver speaks volumes. . .

Cannon says they fight for the right of religious expression in the public square. . .

The Nativity will be on display through next week.
