South Dakota State University wide receiver Jake Wieneke and tight end Dallas Goedert were named Monday to the STATS FCS Preseason All-America Team.

Wieneke, a junior wide receiver from Maple Grove, Minnesota, earned a spot on the first team after a 2015 season in which he caught 72 passes for a Missouri Valley Football Conference-record 1,472 yards with 11 touchdowns. He has been selected to All-America teams each of his first two seasons with the Jackrabbits, including first-team recognition from STATS and the Associated Press last year.

A junior tight end from Britton, Goedert was a second-team selection after earning all-MVFC honors in 2015. He ranked second on the squad with 26 receptions, 484 receiving yards and three touchdowns last season.

The Jackrabbits, who finished the 2015 season with an 8-4 overall record and made their fourth consecutive appearance in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs, will report to fall camp Wednesday, with their first practice scheduled for Thursday afternoon. The MVFC preseason poll will be announced on Tuesday.
