National Cattlemen Beef Association members are in Denver this week attending their summer conference, which runs through Saturday. Nebraska Cattlemen’s Association President, Dave McCracken says they have a lot to work through including environmental and labeling issues and discussion about dues.
McCracken says they’re trying to be proactive in dealing with the costs of running their organization, so that’s why the issue of possibly increasing dues has come up.
McCracken says he’s also hoping to learn more about the process that will be used by NCBA in finding a new Chief Executive Officer to replace Forrest Robert’s, who’s resigned.
