Over the weekend, NASCAR reached a milestone as racers reached the six million mile mark on using E 15 fuel. NASCAR’s CEO BrIan France says E 15 stands up to their rigorous racing conditions while significantly reducing the impact on the environment. Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis says reaching that milestone proves the effectiveness and efficiency of the fuel.

Buis says this evidence needs to be shown to federal policy makers trying to determine the proper amount of volumes required under the renewable fuel standard.

Buis says E 15 is less expensive than regular fuel, is higher performing and better for the environment and consumers want it.
