A major step in the construction of a grain loading facility at Napa Junction next week is raising concerns with the Yankton County Commission.
Planning & Zoning Director Pat Garrity told the board that a major concrete project will have heavy trucks in and out of the site, 24 hours a day for most of next week. He said he has not had any official confirmation of which roads will be used for the traffic.
Commission Chairman Todd Woods says they will ask for more information…..
Woods says they do have an engineering firm on the site, monitoring progress…..
Woods says they want to avoid damage to the county gravel roads surrounding the site….
The facility will be able to load grain unit trains when it is completed.
