Names have been released of the two women who died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on South Dakota Highway 10 east of Sisseton.

A 2008 GMC Sierra pickup was eastbound on Highway 10 when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2003 Dodge Caravan head-on. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

Desirae Ortley, 36, Peever, S.D., was the driver of the pickup. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

Beverly Raw, 85, Browns Valley, MN, was the driver of the Dodge Caravan. She was wearing a seatbelt.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Other agencies on scene were the Roberts County Sheriff’s Office and Sisseton tribal officers.
